"The poorest, the weakest, the simplest child, is born for immortality. This value outweighs the entire material universe, no matter how small a mark this child makes on it. The tiniest infant owns a deathless intellect, and is as immortal as the Father of spirits. No one can tell what this child will become."

~ A Prebyterian Pastor who died in 1873

"And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise."

Jacks' First Basketball Game

Jack has made a new friend! His name is "Mr. Dakota." Mr. Dakota is the son of my friend Shannon Parker. Mr. Dakota is a freshman at Harstelle High and he took time to come play with Jack one day. Needless to say that made Jacks' day life.

We were invited to one of Dakotas' basketball games (which was Jacks' first game ever!) I am proud to say that the main thing he took away from the experience was that he "met FOUR pretty girls."

When we ask him if he'd like to go back he replied, "Ummm, maybe just football." Which is great because Mr. Dakota plays football as well :)

Entering stage right... "pretty girl" #1

At this point the boy lost - his - mind! He didn't know how to act in front of her. I was all like "pull yourself together man!"
