"The poorest, the weakest, the simplest child, is born for immortality. This value outweighs the entire material universe, no matter how small a mark this child makes on it. The tiniest infant owns a deathless intellect, and is as immortal as the Father of spirits. No one can tell what this child will become."

~ A Prebyterian Pastor who died in 1873

"And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise."

Jacks' new favorite song

Jack experiences Decaturs' one claim to fame

Aunt "Bitsy" took Jack on his very first visit to Point Mallard today... he loves to swim Mom and Aunt "Bitsy" have done such a great job teaching him to love the swimming pool. He will jump off the side of mom and dads' pool into my moms' arms with no hesitation... She has also taught him how to kick "hard"....

Apparently kicking "hard" to Jack means making the cutest pain face and grunting the sweetest little grunt I've ever heard. Seems summer 2010 has and will be a huge turning point in our little mans' life...

Is it just me or does the skipper come to mind when you see this picture :)
