"The poorest, the weakest, the simplest child, is born for immortality. This value outweighs the entire material universe, no matter how small a mark this child makes on it. The tiniest infant owns a deathless intellect, and is as immortal as the Father of spirits. No one can tell what this child will become."

~ A Prebyterian Pastor who died in 1873

"And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise."

Welcome Steven Lamp

Stuart and I are officially an Aunt and Uncle, meet jack's first cousin... Steven Lamp. 8lbs 21.5 inches. Mommy and baby are doing good and we can't wait till they can come visit from Florida.

Congrats Bonnie and Joel he is beautiful.

In other news, as Jack was gnawing on my finger this morning (which I occasionally let him do to soothe his gums) I noticed it hurt more than usual, I looked in his mouth expecting to see barbwire and to my surprise our little man woke up with two top teeth! Amazing what a good night sleep can do.
