I thought it would be appropriate to at least give a mention of the shows that keep our household quiet and relatively happy (by "household" I mean Jack.)
First we have Shaun the Sheep, it is a short cartoon that comes on before Playhouse Disney and Stuart and I actually found ourselves watching a whole DVD of it because it was so funny.
Next we have "Praise Baby", this was introduced to us by my cousin Haley she described it as "baby crack" and she couldn't have been more right. Our nightly ritual consists of 5:30 dinner, 6:30 bath time and 7 we put Jack in his swing and turn on "Praise Baby" until he goes to sleep, to say that he loves this DVD would be an understatement. Forget gripe water this DVD is a cure all for any ailment he might have. The one posted is the Christmas one which we do not have but you get the idea anyway. It is basically a baby Einstein format with Church Hymns I have found myself enjoying it for background music as I am cleaning or scrap booking it is so soothing and we even keep Jack out of the nursery until after the music part of Church because he enjoys the music so much due to this show. I strongly recommend this DVD to anyone with a baby of any age, you can get it at any Christian store.
Here is Ooh and Ahh, they are puppet monkey's from playhouse Disney and they are actually pretty cute. I couldn't find the intro but it is a very catchy tune.
Next is Handy Manny, I find myself singing this over and over in my head quite frequently. Kinda annoying but Jack enjoys it. It also keeps Stuart up on his Spanish, I often find him telling me things that are irrelevant to our conversation in Spanish. We may be talking about bills and he comes out with some Spanish phrase that apparently means "I love the beach."
And last but not least Jack's most favorite Word World... this was the first cartoon we discovered that Jack loved, we constantly keep it saved on Tivo just in case none of his shows are on.
